Monks:
The monks of Neydo Tashi Choeling are from India, Nepal and Tibet. Their studies include the recitation of Buddhist practice texts and English and Tibetan language lessons. The purpose of these studies is to train qualified Dharma teachers and translators.
Through their activities they will pass on the Buddha's teachings to dharma practitioners all over the world. Our masters and Khenpos will guide the monks who will be educated in the different practices of Tibetan Buddhism as well as of the Neydo tradition.
All donations will provide the monks basic necessities during their stay in the Monastery. The monks and students of the Neydo School are mainly from poor families. Most of the monks are orphans, and their families could not afford the basic needs of their child such as food, education, and medical attention. Your contribution will be used to support each monk. The cost of sponsorship is $40 U.S. per month or $480 per year. You can send in your donation annually, quarterly or monthly.
